Balboa Park Station Area Plan Monitoring Report 2007-2011

The Balboa Park Station Area Plan was adopted in 2009 to:

1. improve the area’s public realm;
2. make the transit experience safer and more enjoyable; and
3. improve the economic vitality of the Ocean Avenue Neighborhood Commercial District.

This Balboa Park Station Area Plan Five-Year Monitoring Report, the first since the Plan’s adoption, covers office and retail development and employment trends, housing production and conversion trends, affordable housing, and project entitlement requirements and fees. In addition, this report also describes existing and planned infrastructure and other public benefit improvements.
