The Housing Inventory is the Planning Department’s annual survey of housing production trends in San Francisco. The report details changes in the City’s housing stock, including housing construction, demolition, and alterations, and has been published regularly since 1967.
Housing Data Updates
SF Planning has cleaned up its housing data since 2005 and continues to improve it for accuracy. The latest report contains the most accurate information. Numbers for the same year may differ in older reports. If you need housing data that's not in the latest report, contact the Planning Department.
